URBAN DESIGN & SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM (UDSP)Explore our immersive 150-hour Urban Design & Sustainability Program (UDSP) this summer. Designed for rising 3rd to 6th graders, it offers a unique blend of arts, culinary, agriculture, and permaculture design.
Through service learning and a STEAM-based curriculum, students gain hands-on experience in herbalism, gardening, design, and more. Culminate your summer with student-prepared feasts and impressive permaculture designs! |
About Monica IbacacheMonica Ibacache, the CEO and Founder of Beyond Organic Design and Monica Ibacache Inc., is a community organizer, teacher, and ecological designer based in New York City. With a passion for gardening, she honed her skills while growing up with her grandparents in Chile and continued her journey in southeast Alaska. Eventually, she became a certified permaculture designer in the United States.
Currently, Monica is dedicated to enhancing food systems and promoting social and environmental justice through her work. As a woman of color, she has a strong affinity for teaching in diverse and marginalized communities, making a significant impact in these areas. |
